Electric ball valve structure is simple, consisting of only a few parts, which reduces material consumption. It has a small size, light weight, and compact installation size. The driving torque is small, making it easy to operate. It can be quickly opened and closed by rotating 90°. It also has good flow regulation and sealing characteristics. In applications with large and medium diameters and medium to low pressures, electric ball valves are the dominant choice. When the electric ball valve is fully open, the thickness of the disc is the only resistance for the medium flowing through the valve body, resulting in a small pressure drop and better flow control characteristics. Electric ball valves have two sealing types: soft seal and metal seal. The soft seal valve has a sealing ring that can be mounted on the valve body or attached to the periphery of the disc. The valve with a metal seal is generally longer than the one with a soft seal, but achieving a complete seal is more difficult. Metal seals can withstand higher operating temperatures, while soft seals have temperature limitations. When using an electric ball valve for flow control, it is important to accurately select the size and type of valve.
